Search and rescue called after reports plane crash into water in Chilliwack

Search and rescue were among the first responders called out to reports of a plane crashing into a body of water in Chilliwack Monday late afternoon.The incident took place around 5:30 p.m., at a location off of Wolfe Road and Skway Road, according to reports from witnesses on social media.Fire crews reported that a plane was completely submerged when they arrived.A landing zone had been set up, but was cancelled at around 6 p.m.– This is a developing story and will be updated as informati
