Repeat offender charged in Abbotsford with setting bushes on fire

A 39-year-old man has been charged in relation to an incident in Abbotsford which ended with him allegedly setting some bushes on fire.
The Abbotsford Police Department reported in a social media post that the incident took place just after 10 a.m. on Friday, June 26.
A woman reported she had been walking along a sidewalk in the 30800 block of Maclure Road when she was approached by an unknown man, who ignited a lighter in her face before starting the fire.
