RCMP investigating ‘string of suspicious fires’ in North Shuswap

Police are investigating after North Shuswap residents and firefighters found themselves responding to what the regional district is calling a “string of suspicious fires.”
At around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, Celista firefighters responded to a brush fire along Squilax Anglemont Road. They arrived to find three small fires, spaced approximately 100 metres apart, burning in a ditch.
