Pedestrian killed in collision on Hope highway

A pedestrian was killed after a highway collision involving a Ford pickup truck in Hope on Wednesday night (Sept. 23).
According to a statement from Hope RCMP, police were called to the collision at approximately 8:38 p.m. – minutes after a separate report of a pedestrian walking in the slow lane along Highway 5.Upon the arrival of police, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
