Passenger dead after collision on Highway 1 in Abbotsford

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 1 in Abbotsford early Monday morning (July 20).
According to a news release from the Abbotsford Police Department, officers responded to a collision into the centre median near Cole Road just before 2 a.m.
Two people were inside the vehicle and received medical attention. The passenger was pronounced dead on the scene and the driver was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, per the news release.“Prel
