No significant fire activity despite clearer skies at Quilpituk Creek wildfire

The skies opened and didn’t have an impact on the Quilpituk Creek wildfire on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
In an update just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, BC Wildfire Service said that despite skies clearing on and off throughout the day, which increased temperatures and atmospheric instability, no significant increase in fire behaviour was observed.
