No return date yet for Village of Clinton evacuees

Nearly two weeks after the Village of Clinton was evacuated, there is still no estimated date of when evacuees will be able to return.
The Village was evacuated on July 24 in response to the Pear Lake wildfire, which as of Tuesday (Aug. 4) was estimated at 115,250 hectares. The French Bar Creek wildfire west of Clinton was estimated at 37,106 hectares, while the Rim Lake wildfire to the east was estimated at 4,577 hectares. All three were listed as Out of Control.
