More Mexican wildfire personnel arrive in B.C., Australians also coming to help

B.C. Premier David Eby addressed the wildfire situation Thursday (Aug. 6) amid the backdrop of 200 Mexican wildfire personnel arriving in the province.
The latest group of firefighters arriving are among the group of 600 additional firefighters coming to the province to support the B.C. Wildfire Service, Eby said during a news conference at Abbotsford International Airport. He added Australian firefighters will also be coming to B.C.
