More evacuation orders for Brunswick Creek fire in Fraser Canyon

The Brunswick Creek wildfire north of Boston Bar in the Fraser Canyon has grown to 100 hectares and prompted expanded evacuation orders and alerts from the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) and Boothroyd Indian Band.
The FVRD has expanded an evacuation order to include dozens of properties in Electoral Area “A” in North Bend and along Chaumox Road on the west side of the Fraser River. The community of Boston Bar, on the east side of the Fraser, is under evacuation alert.
