Mark Warkentin to seek second term on Abbotsford council

Mark Warkentin has announced he will seek a second term on Abbotsford city council in October’s municipal election.
In a press release on Thursday (Aug. 20), Warkentin said he will again run as an independent candidate.
He said he will focus on three key issues: addressing street disorder and crime; securing provincial and federal funds to keep Abbotsford safe from flooding; and constructing facilities for ice, aquatics, and sports fields.
