Man sentenced to over 4 years for violent extortion crimes in Surrey

A man in his late 20s has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for extortion-related offences in Surrey that date back to 2024.Abjeet Kingra pleaded guilty in Surrey provincial court on July 6 to discharging a firearm into a place and arson of an inhabited property. He was sentenced to two years for the arson charge and four years, 10 months and 19 days for the firearms charge.
