Man impaled by tent pole at Harrison Mills campground
The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating a death at a Harrison Mills campsite over the B.C. Day long weekend.Agassiz RCMP spokesperson S/Sgt. Darryl Peppler said on Friday, July 31, at about 6 p.m., a 60-year-old man at the Harrison River RV and Campground in Harrison Mills was attempting to remove a stuck tent pole. In dislodging the pole, the man was impaled and later succumbed to his injuries.Criminality is not suspected at this time.
