Keep your drones at home: What to know before Snowbirds fly over White Rock

Before the Canadian Forces Snowbirds return to White Rock Wednesday, there’s a few things the city wants residents and visitors to know.The iconic Snowbirds return to White Rock on Wednesday (Aug. 12) for an aerial performance that starts at 5:30 p.m.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable event, the city is reminding spectators that:
• The White Rock pier will close at 2 p.m.
• Personal drone use of any size or weight is strictly prohibited
• Swimmers, paddleboarders, kayakers
