It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Thomas Poirier, who passed away on February 1, 2026, in Abbotsford, British Columbia, at the age of 77. John was born on May 27, 1948, in Timmins, Ontario, the son of John and Dorothy Poirier. Over the years, he built a life grounded in faith, dedication, and a deep love of the outdoors. He is lovingly remembered by his partner of over 35 years, Marion Hampson of Abbotsford, British Columbia; his brothers James and Dollard
