Heritage house burns in Glen Valley

The McIver residence, a heritage house that stood for more than 130 years, burned during the early morning hours of Thursday, Aug. 27, in Glen Valley.Neighbour Albert Anderson of Aldor Acres, who lives directly across the street from the historic home, at 8258 252 St., said ashes could still be seen around the property later in the day.
