Heat wave brings temperature record to Abbotsford

In addition to Monday’s heat breaking a few sweats, it also broke records in Abbotsford, giving the city its warmest June 22 in recorded history.
Environment Canada shared that the peak temperature on Monday reached 32.4 C, which surpassed the previous record of 31.7 C in 1958.
Abbotsford wasn’t alone in starting the week with new temperature heights, with a total of 14 B.C. communities also setting records.
This current heat wave is expected to bring similar temperatures on Tuesday,
