Fraser Valley athletes score medals at Special Olympics Canada Summer Games

Fraser Valley athletes impressed at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Games, with all five local athletes taking home medals for Team BC.The Games ran from Aug. 11 to 15 at Medicine Hat, Alta.
Leading the way locally was powerlifter Paige Norton, who earned gold in the bench press, deadlift and all-around competition.
