On October 20, 2026, Edna Schmidt, in her 101st year, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She is survived by her three children, Arla (Longhurst) (Gary), Arden (Noreen) and Cheryl (Ford) (Douglas). Grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole (Ryan), Madison and Emma. Great grandchildren, Lily and Jack. Edna is predeceased by her parents and her two sisters, Alma and Esther and infant grandsons, Matthew and Michael.
