Construction on Coquihalla Highway to cause ‘major delays’

Construction on the Coquihalla Highway is set to cause major delays over the last few days.
On Monday, July 26, the stretch of highway from Exit 202 (Portia) to Exit 217 (Zopkios Brake Check) is reduced to one lane in both directions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to a construction project.The construction, combined with the current closures of Highway 1 in the Boston Bar area and Highway 3 just outside of Hope due to wildfires, is set to cause ‘major’ traffic delays on the Coquihalla.
