Construction begins on major Abbotsford overpass

Crossing Highway 1 will soon be even easier for Abbotsford commuters, with the construction of the new Peardonville Road overpass recently getting underway.
This overpass project is part of the Fraser Valley Highway 1 Corridor Improvement Program and is the final part of the program to begin construction.
While the current Peardonville Road crossing is only two lanes, this new overpass will be expanded to include four lanes, with 1.6 km of Highway 1 surrounding the overpass also getting new HOV
