City of Abbotsford gets $7M for Fraser Highway project

The City of Abbotsford has announced that it has received $7 million in federal funding for further improvements along Fraser Highway.
The funding from the Build Communities Strong Fund will be used for the stretch of the highway between Mt. Lehman and Station roads, the city said in a press release.
The total cost of the project is $13.5 million, with the remainder being funded by the city.
