Cell phones, cannabis seized during search of Agassiz prison

Correctional officers uncovered contraband and unauthorized items of undisclosed institutional value during an exceptional search at medium-security Mountain Institution near Agassiz.
According to Correctional Service Canada (CSC), Mountain Institution was locked down from June 26 to July 3 for an exceptional search, during which contraband and unauthorized items were found. Seized items included homemade weapons, two cell phones and cannabis concentrate.
