Brunswick Creek fire grows to over 1,200 hectares

The Brunswick Creek wildfire north of Boston Bar has ballooned in size since its last listing, with the blaze now reaching 1,230 hectares in size.
BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) updated the size of the fire at 1:16 p.m. on Sunday July 5.
Earlier on the morning of July 5, multiple evacuation orders were issued from the Fraser Valley Regional District and the Boothroyd Indian Band. At the time, the fire was listed at 100 hectares.
