An Alberta driver got her vehicle impounded for seven days after police caught her excessively speeding on a northern B.C. highway.B.C. Highway Patrol stopped a black Chevrolet Trax on Highway 97, south of Taylor, on Aug. 13 around 12:45 p.m. after the vehicle was clocked going 142 km/h in a 70 zone, police said in a news release Thursday (Aug. 20).
