With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Alan Abraham Hougen at the age of 91. Born and raised in Abbotsford, Alan devoted his life to family, community and the friendships he treasured. Many knew Alan through his businesses. In 1963, he purchased Gilmour’s Department Store from his Uncle Murray and, in 1978, turned his focus to sports with the purchase of Clearbrook Sporting Goods. A lifelong Rotarian, Alan b
