Air quality warning remains for South Okanagan, Eastern Fraser Valley, Thompson

Wildfire smoke continues to linger across parts of British Columbia.
On Tuesday, Aug. 25, a yellow-coded air quality warning has been issued by Environment Canada to the entirety of the Eastern Fraser Valley from Abbotsford to Hope, Highway 3 from Hope to Osoyoos, the South Okanagan (Penticton to Osoyoos), along the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Kamloops, as well as Ashcroft, and west of the Cariboo, but reaching Anahim Lake.
For the affected areas, residents should still take precautions.
