Abbotsford school board approves capital request for new middle school

A new middle school in the McKee Peaks area tops the list of capital requests which was unanimously approved by the Abbotsford board of education at its meeting on Tuesday (June 16) night.
If approved, the 600-capacity school for Grades 6 to 8 would be located in the east Abbotsford neighbourhood and the initial ask is just over $61.5 million.
