Abbotsford mayoral candidates respond to issues

A total of four candidates are vying to be Abbotsford’s mayor in the municipal election on Saturday, Oct. 17. The Abbotsford News asked them to answer the two following questions, each in 100 words or less: 1) Why are you running to be mayor of Abbotsford? and 2) What do you believe are the two biggest issues facing Abbotsford? Their answers are below.

1) I’m running for mayor because I believe Abbotsford can do better. We’re a growing city, but in too many areas, w
