1 person dies after crash into hydro pole in Abbotsford

One person died in a single-vehicle collision on Townshipline Road in Abbotsford on Tuesday night (July 7).
Abbotsford Police Department said emergency crews responded to the crash into a hydro pole in the 32900 block of Townshipline at approximately 7:05 p.m.
First responders extricated two people from the vehicle. Police say the passenger died of their injuries on scene while the driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
