New national school food program could be in place before end of next school year

The federal government unveiled details of a new national school food program Thursday that it hopes will be providing meals to more kids in more schools before the end of the next school year, but Families Minister Jenna Sudds cautioned that it will take time for organizations to scale up their existing operations.
