Hollywood takes a pass this weekend, abandoning the field to the Super Bowl

The studios are only debuting one, little-heralded movie in theatres this weekend, which is considered the worst one of the year to release a new movie. Hollywood has been wary of this week for years but this is close to unheard of, writes Peter Howell.
