Paul Skenes: The extra rest didn’t help

This afternoon, Paul Skenes was back on the mound. The pitcher had been given a few extra days of rest following his last start, which took place on August 11.
As a reminder, he had been pulled from that game after just 65 pitches.
So the question was whether the rest would help Skenes… and in the end, it didn't really. He finished his outing with just 4.1 innings pitched and 81 pitches.
During that time, he allowed four hits, four walks (he was struggling with his control), and three ear
