Expansion Draft: Jeff Gorton Unveils the Canadiens’ Plan

In a few years, expansion seems inevitable in the NHL.
When that happens, it will mark the first expansion draft since 2021, when the Seattle Kraken joined the National Hockey League.
We've already discussed this, but naturally, it's time to start thinking about it. After all, the Habs will have decisions to make when the time comes.
Because the Habs are better now than they were in 2017 or 2021, it's possible that the Canadiens will lose a quality player when the time comes for a team to draft.
