Program to push for gender equality in STEMM fields

A pilot program being launched in Canberra today is hoping to get organisations to fix the gender inequality in what's known as the STEMM fields - science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine. The latest figures show there are roughly about the same number of men and women who are science graduates, but women only account for about 17 per cent of senior academics.
