Kangaroo cull sparks outrage from conservationists

Conservationists are outraged that kangaroos will be culled in the drought stricken south-west Queensland town of Quilpie. The local council says it has obtained a permit to cull kangaroos which have descended on the town in search for food and water but conservationists have labelled it unnecessary cruelty.
