Regulus Axing 60% of Workforce, Pauses Patient Recruitment for Lead Program

Regulus Therapeutics said it is eliminating 60% of its workforce as part of a restructuring designed to extend its available cash until mid-2019—the second time in 14 months that the company has cut jobs.The 60% workforce cut would amount to 38 jobs, based on the 63-employee staff Regulus reported as of December 31, 2017.
