Scientists at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in the U.K. have harnessed CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology to uncover why some tumors are resistant to poly-(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors such as olaparib and talazoparib.
