Hard landing involving Kavanagh Balloons, E-240, VH-DUX, near Essendon Airport, Vic. on 2 April 2018

uring fast winds and minor turbulence, the pilot carried out a quick descent, resulting in a hard landing. The balloon was dragged for approximately 15 metres after landing. A passenger and the pilot suffered minor injuries.
