Collision between Aurizon train 9M48 and Qube train 9277 at Oonoomurra, Queensland, on 17 August 2022

At about 0645, Qube train 9277 entered the loop line at Oonoomurra to allow Aurizon train 9M48 to pass on the main line. However, the last wagon of the Qube train was not clear of the main line, and the locomotive of Aurizon train 9M48 collided with the last wagon of 9277. The locomotive of NM48 derailed and the driver received minor injuries.
