Ram CEO promises upcoming Ranger rival will be a ‘real truck’

Plans for a competitor to utes like the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux from Ram are set to position it with the capability of the larger Ram 1500.

A planned ‘mid-size’ pick-up truck from Ram is being developed with capabilities that could match those of the bigger Ram 1500.Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis told American publication The Drive that he saw no reason for the new ute to fall short on the capabilities offered by the larger 1500.Previously, Ram sold the older 1500 ‘DS&rsquo
