Services on The Ghan, Indian Pacific to halve after government cuts

Concession fares will increase and services on The Ghan and Indian Pacific will halve to once a week as Great Southern Rail prepares for an expected 20 per cent downturn in passenger numbers, a company spokesperson confirms.
