Pilbara manganese project approved

A US-backed Pilbara manganese company is on the cusp of tripling the capacity of its mine to process minerals destined for America’s largest vehicle maker.Element 25 on Monday gained regulatory approval from the state government to expand its Butcherbird mine south of Newman.
