Insurance injection for Mt Gibson after fire

Mount Gibson Iron has finalised a $27 million business interruption insurance payout arising from a 2022 fire at its Koolan Island processing plan.
The fire ripped through the processing plat on August 12, 2022, leading to a four-month-long operation to return the site to capacity.
