Federal Court dismisses sick-leave appeal by unions against Qantas

Unions representing Qantas workers lose an appeal in the Federal Court to have the airline pay its workers for taking sick or carers leave while they are stood down, with two of three justices ruling staff cannot take leave from work that does not exist.
