Fake meat inquiry may ask vegan food producers to drop labels like 'beef' from packaging

Plant-based food producers may be forced to drop terms including 'beef' and 'sausage' — as well as any images of animals — from their packaging, according to the chair of a Senate inquiry into food labelling.
