Facebook surges 19pc on unexpectedly strong results, ASX set to snap three-day losing streak

The Australian share market is set to rise after Wall Street began to recover from its heavy losses in recent days, while shares in Facebook parent Meta surged 19 per cent as it posted better-than-expected results after the closing bell.
