Compressed-air power project promises $457m over decades

A compressed-air method of storing renewable energy will be utilised in a new facility near Broken Hill. The plant will store up to 200 megawatts of energy and pump hundreds of millions of dollars into the town over four decades, company-commissioned modelling says.
