Breaking: Americans Hall and Woodford win Nobel economics prize for work on stabilisation

The award was announced by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, honouring Mr Hall who is affiliated with Stanford University in California and Mr Woodford part of Columbia University in New York.
