Australia's Local Heroes are putting 'people and planet before profit'

Vanessa Brettell and Hannah Costello have employed and trained more than 60 migrant and refugee women through their social enterprise cafe Stepping Stone in Canberra. The pair have now been named Australia's Local Heroes for 2025.
