Greater Hobart mayors warn 'voice of the community' at risk of being removed from planning decisions

A plan by Tasmania's state government to bypass local council approvals for some developments would result in a "wild west on steroids" development environment, a group of local mayors say — with the government hitting back at council "self interest".
